Strengthening Trust: Project Caraga Bolsters Joint Monitoring and Grievance Team with IP Leaders and NCIP

Project Caraga is taking a significant step in ensuring stronger collaboration and accountability across its partner ancestral domains. In partnership with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Caraga, its provincial offices, and designated Indigenous Peoples (IP) leaders from communities in Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur, the project is reinforcing its Joint Monitoring and Grievance Team.
This initiative aims to strengthen mechanisms for dialogue, conflict resolution, and community engagement — ensuring that concerns are addressed promptly, transparently, and with cultural sensitivity.
By working hand in hand with IP leaders and NCIP, Project Caraga continues to uphold its commitment to trust-building, inclusivity, and long-term peace within its forest conservation and community development efforts.
