Project Caraga Strengthens Coordination with AFP Through Courtesy Visits Across Caraga Region

Project Caraga CMO Rowil Aguillon along with our Security Officer Lou Ballescas, and Safety Officer Jhun Aldrin Carias, conducted a series of courtesy visits to key Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) units across Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur. The visits included the 402nd Brigade in Bancasi, the 23rd Infantry Battalion in Buenavista, the 901st Infantry Brigade in Placer, the 30th Infantry Battalion in Gigaquit, and the 36th and 75th Infantry Battalions in Carmen and Brgy. Magruyong, respectively.

The teams were warmly received by Brigadier Generals, as these engagements provide Project Caraga an important platform to brief AFP personnel on ongoing activities and updates in our partner communities. Through direct dialogue, the team was able to align operational efforts, share project updates, and discuss ways to ensure the safety and security of all field personnel across the Caraga region.

By strengthening coordination with AFP units, Project Caraga continues to advance its mission on the ground while ensuring the protection and support of teams conducting fieldwork. These interactions represent a proactive step toward sustainable collaboration and safer, more effective implementation of community-focused initiatives throughout the region.
